Today, was SR's Sports Day and being posted to 1S02, I'm in Draco, one of e 5 houses at SRJC (other 4 being Orion,Pegasus,Cetus and Aquilla). Since Draco was champion house b4, we were abit "over-enthusiastic" and thought that we could win again this year. Unfortunately, luck was not on our side... To add to that humiliation, we were the 5th(sounds not bad, but being 5th out of 5 positons and u would be in the $%#! postion)... Haiz.. thank God it rained halfway, so e whole event is postponed till next week... Except for e college dance, which I'll be posting e pics when i have the very very rare luxury of time...

Haiz... regarding my absurd title, it was coz of alot of stuff happening b/t me n a 'select' few in Athens Beta... Some pissed me off n vice versa... In fact, i dunnoe why, I'm feelin' like the current ppl i noe, is soooooo much different than e ones i noe during orientation n the march break... Haiz, simply to put it, i've moved on, to the point tt I wont feel regret/remorse for moving on... To add to tt, my 'brader' seems to be facing a whole lotta problems during e late week... But like i said, I've moved on...

Tomorrow, work will begin like never before, even for first intake people(eventhough we don't really have to do some of the tutorials)... Haiz... Tried to start on my PW, but cant really get any 'creative' ideas on both topics... So, diff. when u are working alone... The past weeks will now be nothing more than a distant memory to me now since I know that the only, only time I'd be that free is after my A'lvls...

I know that I've not been doing much updating for e last several days since mainly I spent wadeva time I have out of the house with my friends(well, most of e days anyways). The reasons and contents of said outings are too sensitive and concerning private matter so i wont really 'rant' on about it...

Was supposed to get my GC today, but e 2pid supplier told me tt e shop was closed... I was like wth... Coz I didnt get it last tuesday n wednesday simply coz of e fact tt it was so crowded... (to add to tt, I was simply being lazy =P). Wth... summore tmr the first thing I have is MATHS TUTORIAL!!! Luckily the tutor is e same as my 1st intake one... not so strict..

Antoher matter I'd wanna 'rant' about is whoever did e timetable must haf really wanted to kill S02... I mean, on Tuesday, eventhough I end at 3pm, we only haf a half-hour lunch... summore in e morning there's PE, after tt followed by 2 tutorials and 3 lectures... with only one HALF-HOUR lunch... On thursdays, I'll finish at 5.30.. luckily, the last lesson is ML, if it was someother looooooon lecture... u wont wanna noe wad I'm gonna do...

Haiz, tt's about it... Am gonna pack my bag and 'ready' myself for tmr...

Btw, where I'm studying currently, it's "christmas day" every monday XD

Today we finally found out which CG we're posted to. (I noe it seems late compared to other JCs, but still SR rox!) I found that I'm posted there together with Cedric and Jeremy frm 1S01 (1st intake), the CG tutor isn't tt bad... So once i knew that we werent in 'dire straits' as those in the NEW 1S01 'coz their CG tutors are 'abit'... 'strict'... Hopefully I might get the same tutors as the 1st intake... (cept for someone, who's a LOT 'undertall'... hehehe, only the old 1S01 ppl will noe wad i mean...)

Today for me was a very very very SLACK day... Only had PE, and from 10 to 12.30, it was practically my break. Went to buy my school shirt but *fortunately*, the supplier ran out and told me to purchase it nxt week... Haiz... means I'll only have like 3,4 days to wear my SA uniform... I realli miss SAS... So after 'slacking' for 2 and a half hours, I went for my H1 ML class... Whoa... The turnout was FAR better than 1st intake, now there's around 60 ppl, whereas they used to be only less than 25... Of the 60, only 5 or 6 were from the first intake...

After H1 ML, went to 'aquarium' (that's the airconditioned study area) to 'slack' again... eventhough i could go home oredi, i chose to w8 for some of my frenz who were gonna have H2 econs lecture... Heard some stuff here and there but nth much realli.... After they went off for their lecture, I went home.... Simply, a very 'relaxed' day I had, need 2 realli start working now or else I'll fall behind everyone else... But kinda hard la, no motivation yet 'coz most of the lectures are repeat. >.<

Today is so boring... For a Sunday, time seemed to have slowed down far worse than during a bio practical. Whoa, it's like I'm even struggling to stay awake right now. To recap wad happened on my 'wonderful' Sunday, first of all, as soon after i woke up, I had to help my mom & bro clean all e aircon filters arnd e house. It's not easy when e amount of dust u haf to clean is SOOOO MUCH!!!!. After Operation:Clean The Aircon, i took a shower... then realised a BIG mistake... I was supposed to clean my room since it was due for cleaning for a week >.< Haiz... So what to do... More cleaning, took another shower... finally relaxed abit by playing BFME2. Now, so bored... I think I'm gonna pack for tmr...

My 5 Day Outing...

My Five Day Outing...

To explain why my title for my post today is so weird, it's coz from monday all the way to friday(today) Athens Beta has been going out non-stop.. (well part of them onli la). I'm gonna split each day into one paragraph, So pls, bear with me:

Day One, Monday 13/3: Since I'd attended lectures during the first months, it wasnt compulsory for me to attend any of the make up lectures. So, ppl might say 'ponned', but simply, i didnt go for maths, econs and bio lecture... Which was practically the whole day but since I had to so-called w8 for the rest to 'finish' (more like pon) their lectures, i went to skool anyway... Arnd 12 plus, we went to Heartland Mall(Kovan)'s Pizza Hut, i had to 'treat' someone for some guessing game i did last night... haiz... there goes $10....

Day Two, Tuesday 14/3: Didnt go for any lectures today so I met my OG-mates in school arnd 12.30, took 55 to J8 to do some 'admin' stuff... summore I had to treat TWO ppl todae.. Still for some guessing game i did online... One 'lucky' person got a delifrance chicken sandwich... the other... juz a pool game treat on e following day... Lucky.. otherwise, i'd lose over $40 on Swensens....

Day Three, Wednesday 15/3: I think it's in e previous post so i wont say much.. Took some pics B/t maths and history lectures... Went to SSC (S'pore Shopping Centre) for pool 'practice' with fides, domm and jasmine...

Day Four, Thursday 16/3: D-DAY!!! H-hour at noon... Supposed to watch Date Movie at 12.55, but due to some 'delays' we ended up 'roaming' PS frm 12 till 2... then JH & weili pang-seh me...To add to the pressure, alot of ppl came late... Seriously, I think my blood pressure SHOT UP like crazy... luckily, i didnt like faint... Then we went to SSC (again) and booked 3 tables. Thank God the rate there was cheap... We ended up playing pool for arnd 3 hrs... At 5, we went to Fish & Co. beside SSC, the food there 'seems' abit ex...(13+ for fish n chips), luckily the quality of the food made up for it, plus the Kola Tonic there tastes so good!!! I wish I had another one... By the time we finished eating, it was nearing 7pm... Instead of being good children (like we are.. hehe), we(fides,genn,jasmine, weijin, may yee, nic and I) went to Esplanade with the reasoning of wanting to take some photos.. which we did, but for the most part of our time there, they went to see the bands performing... Haiz... shld have went on Wednesday(jazz nite)... Anywaes, here are some pics i took:

Day Five, Friday 17/3: Today's outing was really impromptu. I suggested to Fides in e morning to watch Date Movie since she's free throughout the afternoon.. Invited along domm who then invited Dana, >.< who then invited genn who then >.< invited Morgan... Guess networking works in mysterious ways...(coz i dunnoe why the 'invitations' stopped at morgan, hmm... muz be due to some bad networking on his part... :P) But since we went to Toa Payoh late, we went to play pool instead rather than w8 for the 4 o'clock movie. The rate there was ex, but since Domm was treating me... It didnt matter wad the cost was anywae.. hehe... (FYI, it was $7.60). Played pool from 3 to 5... went to KFC then home... To tell ya the truth, i really wasnt happy at the way some of them were acting... but tt's another story... which i choose not to tell here...

There's pretty much wad happened b/t me and the OG I led throughout our March Break...
P.S.: For those who were not able to join us during this week, I'm sorry, but note that ur participation last week was noted and that without u, there wouldnt be an Athens Beta and there wouldnt even be a victory for Athens. For those who came, I'd like to thank u all for ur company throughout this great 5 days, I've learnt alot about each and everyone of u, and I'm glad to have enjoyed our time together. For ALL of Athens Beta, I'm proud to have been your OGL, and in my heart I know that I could have never lead an even finer group such as u all. Thank You Athens Beta, for all the happiness and joy that u've brought me!!! =D

Hahaz, to think tt after 3 outings in a row(since Monday) with my OG, u'd say I'm bored with my OG. But after last Friday's enthusiasm from my Athens Beta, I felt tt i owe ALOT to them. So, in order to REALLY pay them back, i organised an outing tmr since last friday night....

Today, BIG SHOCK!!!! Alot of those who gave me their word, chickened out... i was like wth... Coz of tt, i got a headache on e way to our pool 'practise'... Tt one oso not many showed up la, onli jasmine, domm, faith and me... Pool was supposed to be fun la, but since i had eaten 2 panadol pills, my aiming skills went down to nil, i keep hitting air, seeing double, and nearly feel asleep at e pool area...

Hahaz, hopefully, tmr will be a better day for me la...

This week was supposed to be a break for every S'porean student...But, for me, my whole week is like fully book with OG outings [PLURAL, ALOT OF OUTINGS], OGL outing and some other stuff la... Haiz, it might feel tt i'm overworking myself... hahaz, but i dun mind.. coz this week... I'm like real happy... First of all, my Athens Won, then, i got a LAPTOP!!! whoa.. shiok man.. it;s like 2 plus blessings in a week la =D

Now, I do most of my chatting n blogging on my laptop la.. I mean i'm currently using it like arnd 4 hrs plus a day... Usually for chatting, u noe, juz to catch up with my OG n frenz... Haiz... I dunnoe wad to say rite now la... coz i like real bz chatting with so many ppl...

Haiz... SR's orientation over oredi... I'm damn sad la, I'm no longer an OGL... Haiz, must part ways with my Athens Beta. I cant make them scream anymore la. Btw, if u r in athens beta n readin this, noe tt i'm real proud of the effort u all put in for me, especially on Friday's games and Fiesta Night :D

Hmm, regarding my experience during SR's 2nd orientation, I'd say that I had a fun time watching my freshmen change from being so... well, dead, to SUPER-ENTHU. If i could repeat any week in my life, I'd choose to repeat my time with my freshmen. It's as simple as that la, they brought so much joy to me. And also, it was like damn sad la, during our LAST of the LAST de-briefing as OGLs, it was damn emotional la, even the councillors and TAs were crying la... Haiz.. i was nvr in such an emotional state b4 sia...

Luckily for me, the outing I've set for next Thursday got a good response la, with a majority of my athens beta going. XD... I need 2 rest now la, b4 i end of, I'd like to say, THANK YOU! THANK YOU ATHENS BETA FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE FOR ME!!!!

Sry for not updating for a no. of days but being an OGL means tt u haf less time to urself (going home an hour after freshmen, muz clean up e place oso...). To sum up my first day as an official athens beta ogl: I was basically running a ONE man show since Nicholas, the other ogl, went home early due to his fever... So, i was left to handle a bigger than normal group of 28 ppl [bigger than the no. of councillors]. Not to mention that on Monday, all 6 guys and 20 girls came la... That and the fact that most of the day was filled with subject talks, i had a REAL tough time juz to handle them la... Lucky they were co-operative. Or else i *die* oredi... The only thing worth saying about the first day was that the freshmen 'mastered' the college dance quite fast la... which was a gd thing tt they enjoyed... or else today, i'd haf no freshmen to begin with...

2nd day: A noticeable decrease in the no. of freshmen in my OG, I have a total of 8 'invalids' [with one confirm withdrawal case]. The fact that my OG felt the same as yesterday (unenthu n dull) meant tt nothing much has change b/t them ('cept the fact tt nicholas is back). Luckily for me, the OG decided to bond themselves during our 2 lunch breaks, but the main prob, the 4 guys who came are not part of the bonding... It'
s expected la, I mean, it's not and NEVER easy for juz one, av. looking, guy to mix arnd with a big grp of grls who onli noe how to talk 'bout all grls stuff... So, frm my perspective, I'm halfway to fully bond my OG...

Tmr, even longer day for them and me... 5 plus for them, 6.30++++ for me... Plus, I'm still undecided on whether to join student council or not... haiz... i need time... which i lack rite now.... and energy too... *yawnz*

Judging by the title, I'm feeling 'above the weather' today as finally, after several long, exhaustive days... I've overcomed the fever and sorethroat (although my nose bleeds occassionally now and then). With half of my weekend gone, all i have to look forward to now is leading around 20 freshmen for a period of 5 days.. not to mention the workload of cleaning which i had left at home for over 2 weeks.. :S...

Sadly, to start anew with another OG means tt I'll have left behind the 'glory days' of being CG rep in 1S01... Haiz.. I'm gonna miss my 1S01 ppl.. but then again, barely a handful usually shows up for planned CG outings, so it pretty much doesn't bother me if I'm gonna have more better experiences with my 2nd CG...

To think of it, I'm actually going to have a much tougher time this week than last week (with my sickness n all...). The main reason being that I'm 'expected' to lead 20 or so ppl in cheers, in greeting EVERY teacher, in games (luckily i dun haf to take part in 'em). To add to all that, I have to carry out both the college and mass dance... :S

To end of with today's post, I just say that I'm glad (n Thank God) that I'm well again, and good luck and goodbye to all the ppl in 1S01, for those who aren't staying anyway. :P

Today e day started off remarkably well. Found out tt i'd passed my GP test (more specifically, just passed) and tt most of Athens and my SA frenz got posted to SR. 'Cept Joel la, who is posted to YJ. XD

After GP when Ced, Joel, Desmond n I decided to pon Maths Lecture, we were caught la. Haiz... I shld've listened to ced and went top e 'aquarium' instead of outside e library. [Btw, in SR, there's this study corner where the specially tinted windows makes it visible to view frm outside to e inside, but not e other way around. Tt's one of e many reasons of it being called a "aquarium" or "fish tank"]. It was a very tense moment when e teacher asked us qs la.. lol... at first i said we were arts student frm 1A06.. but e other 3 were juz keeping quiet... So, i said i got fever. need early leave.. Haiz...

It was kinda sian la, since i was supposed to go to J8 and i was released at 12.00 noon... wth. At e bus stop, i let e first 107 pass by.. got on e 2nd one arnd 15 mins later (i wonder wad izit with 107s...). Changed to 13 and reached J8 arnd 12.50

Next part even more sian... I had to w8 for ced for another WHOLE hour... coz he took e MRT frm Kovan to Bishan -_-'"... Well, e other events r kinda rushed, and since i wanna keep e contents secret, *ahem*

Haiz... my days are still bad due to my sorethroat... now everything i eat tastes like cardboard... wish me well...

Today for me is veri sian day... First of all, woke up at 2 am... coz it was damn cold la... and at tt time e fan wasnt even switched on... having a fever sux la. Then, woke up at 6am, suppose to go to school, but then, i couldn't get up, so i decided to use my MC for today to remain at home.

10am: Woke up coz i couldnt sleep anymore, used a thermometer to check my body temp. Turns out it was a whopping 39.4. [Not highest one though... but who ones a super high temp sia...] Ate quaker oats and took my medication. While w8tin for the drowsiness effect to take place, i watched Amazing Race IX. Not bad la. 'Cept tt i feel asleep half way and woke up at 3.30.

3.30pm: Took a quick but freezing shower (not to mention tt i had e heater turned on to e max) and did some admin. stuff.

Haiz... Tt's y i said today very sian day for me coz most of e time were spent sleeping -_-'". Plus, i'm supposed to go to J8 with cedric summore. Which means i'll still haf to go J8 tmr to find someone's b-day gift.

What a tiring day todae sia... Firstly, when we tried to 'pon' our H1 econs tutorial.. the b***h saw us... so, no choice la... had to go for a very very excruciating tutorial... It was during bio tutorial tt i felt really faint... And e worse thing was tt we had to watch a DVD on e Bodyworks exhibition... So sianz la...

Lucky we had an impromptu 'outing' to Kovan's Pizza Hut... It made my day since it was one of e 'biggest' outing with my CG (believe me, our last 'outings' were really pathetic) and we ate and 'played' Truth or Dare (well, more like truth only since the dare was to sip a super mixed concoction of Coke, soup, baked rice and parmesan chess :S). To put it simply, we were there for arnd an hour + juz chitchatting...

After our 'outing', i quickly rushed to my neighbourhood clinic... I was lucky tt by e time i reached there, i was e last patient... :P. The doc checked and it turns out tt i'm havin fever... 38.5 summore... luckily i didnt faint throughout e time i was out...

After a whole afternoon of interesting 'happenings', my evening went by peacefully, as i took my medications, and also took a very very much needed nap...

Now, i feel refreshed (although my throat is still like super sore la) and hopefully, i can wake up tmr... Coz i haf an impt. errand tmr after skool...

1St Post... SR OGL Camp Rawks!!! 2/27/2006

Whoa... My 1st post... Well, i start of by sayin sumthin 'bout meself: I'm 173, 77 ... and currently studying at SRJC.
I kinda juz finished OGL camp last wkend. So, instead of 'wasting' my wkend at home and 're-playing' my vast no. of com games, i decided to go for OGL camp.

1st day: Friday, kinda boring la coz of the reshuffling of ppl and since most of the ppl who went into Athens (FYI, tt's my OG "family") were frm the first orientation Athens Zeta... Lucky got Ced la, or else i'll be like stoning for the whole duration of the camp la.... Actualli, i cant remember much of the first day up to the point when we played our wargames la... Damn sian la e wargames, at night and then at the track summore... more like PT than wargames... Not onli tt, i think i might haf hit justin (Thebes councillor) in e face twice la... coz my throwing skill sux and oso e fact tt most of the waterbombs i threw didnt blew up... sianz... -_-'" [FYI, besides athens zeta ppl, got another 2 la... i wont name 'em, but it's like freakin, frakkin scary la... i dun think they can lead... coz their social skills are way, way, AWAY, worse than Mr.Antisocial la(one of my SA frenz)]

2nd day: This day will remain with me for e rest of my life... Why u ask? Coz it's the day when 'almost' all the OGLs (besides e aforementioned 2 ppl) were veri 'enthu' la... we dance until my leg like got no feeling, cheered until i got no voice... and also, the watergames were way fun la, since we were at camp... (but if ur shoes r wet, then it sux la...) Besides fun, we also memorised our dance steps and did our walk-in.

3rd day: Very rushed day. woke up at arnd 4 coz someone 4got to turn down e fans in our bunk... so it felt like the south pole... The next hrs were spent in semi-consciousness as i drifted in and out of sleep (being so tired, u'd noe how hard it is to go to the swichtes to turn down e fans). Final wake up call at arnd 5.50 or 6.15... LOL, i cant remember... Then it was walk-in practice/rehearsal, mass dance, college dance and final de-briefing...
As of today, i'm an official Athens OGL in SR... So, it's a goodbye to SA... after 10yrs, i'm an 'old boy' oredi... Haiz...
