Vista-riffic!!!

Upgraded my desktop's OS on saturday with Vista Ultimate...
Nice new functions, layouts and gadgets available...
But if u've tons of software... Kinda bummer coz most of such software will CONFIRM haf problems with this new OS...
Wasted an entire weekend fixing the software probs...

Muz w8 for more vista compatible games sia...

Arr!!! There Be Pirates!!!

Had GP mid-yrs today...
For an exam ppr, it was kinda alrite (eventhough e last proper exam I took would be 4 mths ago)
Watched PoTC: At World's End..
Overall it was alrite... Damn long though...
Had a darn complicated plot which can be confusing at times...
There's a twist at the end involving Turner but it's kinda expected la..
In short, it was a long movie which would've been better if some redundant parts weren't there...

Happy Belated B-dae Harris! :)

My family celebrated Harris's b-day yesterday coz it was weekend, thus more convienient for everyone to show up at my bro's place.
For a 2 yr-old, my nephew sure acts older for his age.. LoL..
My bros n sis bought his a damn cute tickle-me-elmo, a huge pooh bear and some learning aids or smth...
Day started off rather routinely as it was a Saturday and as usual, I'd watch Pop 20 b4 doing anything else...
Eldest bro then came over to bring me to Marina Square to get my new specs... Saw alvin there too..
The fun part starts after 3pm when we all start gathering at my eldest bro's place at Rivervale Dr.
My dad, my other 3 bros and I then proceded to Pasir Ris to buy Arnold's Chicken.. Man were they delicious... But for something akin (or better) to that of KFC's chicken, I dunnoe why they opened up their 2nd outlet at such a peculiar place:

My bros & I... Behind us is the Arnold's Chicken 2nd outlet.. Near the Pasir Ris Community Pond or smth.. Next to Whitesands.. Thank God for my brother's car... Or else it'd be a pain juz to get here...

Together, we bought a feast of a meal back to my bro's place..
Since Harris was still asleep then, we "feasted" first.. :P
Can't really blame us coz by the time we got back, damn hungry sia...
Party kinda started when my nephew woke up from his "baby nap" arnd 6plus..
By that time, the deco's up... Juz w8tin for the cake..

It's been 2 yrs and he's grown up sooooooo fast...
I wonder wut next yr might bring...
Anywayz, I've ordered e 30GB iPod today along with a black leather case... Expecting it to arrive next week...

Desktop Upgrades

Been bz with upgrades for my desktop recently...
Coz the Intel Duo Core stock fan sux like hell, so my bro & I had to replace it with a liquid cooling system...
Got the Aquagate Duo Viva along with an optional 80mm fan so that this current processor will last.. well.. Much more longer than my old shoebox one...
Also installed a new soundcard along with it...
Hmm... I wonder if there's anything else left to upgrade.. LoL

Kinda dull day today coz I went home after Friday prayers..
Didn't wanna stay over for sports day, still got a load of crap of hw to do.. Lol
After prayers, Izzat n I had to go to Heartland 'coz some mf took Haidar's bag.. wtf man...
With recent spate of handphone theft in college and now this.. man... College is no longer feelin' like e past yr...
Well, on e bright side for today, at least I'm getting my refund from e hospital...
Nth much too report these dayz other than the usual HOMEWORK...

The Hottest Day Of The Year (So far...)

Damn it was so freakin' hot today...
To "kick start" the day, SRJC had some kind of laughter club promo thing where 3 reps from said club went up, and tried to get us to laugh-exercise... (good effort though...)
Kinda hard to start laughing if the sun light is glaring straight right into your eyes and the heat was... Sheesh..
The only other time I'd experience such heat and clear skies was when I was in Brisbane during their Summer of '04...
During GP, we did a revision on attitude questions and there was one questions regarding how anti-environmentalists claimed that there are no such things as environmental changes... grrr...
I'm sooooooo praying that there'll be rain tmw...
On the "bright" side, at least I won't have to take my chem SPA tmw either... =D

Hole in my wallet

Went back today after staying ~~"drug-free"~~ "painkiller-free" for 8hrs+++
Was a kinda long day but lucky there's alot of breaks in between the lessons...
After "normal" curriculum ended, I'd wanted to crash the maths remedial 'coz I thot it was on Stats 1 - 3...
Sianz...
Actually it was on Std. Graphs... Lol
Ended up goin to Sim Lim Sq. with Karim, Min Htut & Ariff instead...
Wasn't looking for anything in particular at first...
Went around from the 1st floor to 5th floor checking out Memory Disks...
It was kinda crazy coz I was juz "re-stitched" like a few days ago, but I'd juz wanna try walking out for once... Being trapped for over a month with not much to go kinda leaves me no option...
Found a relatively cheaper Memory Disk for $58 and bought TS2:Celebrations...
Now, muz safe up... Lol..
Well, it's 1 am...
Gotta wake up early for appointment tmr...
But couldn't sleep coz:
1. No painkillers
2. My headache FINALLY WENT AWAY... Nice timing... =S

"Drug Binge"

Finally, my head cleared up from the painkillers from ytd...

It all began on Tuesday,
went out with the rest of the guys to watch Spiderman 3.
Damn cool movie! Great plot too...
The movie would've been more enjoyable if not for the fact that we had front row seats...
Add that to the long 2 1/2 hr movie and all I got was a pain in the neck...
Haix... But what you gonna do, coz somebody mentioned "spontaneousity" the day b4.. LoL
Well, on the plus side, at least we got the tix on the day itself...
After the movie, went to Cine's ComicsMart with YS, Tongliang & Taklung to check out some 40K stuff... Kinda disappointed coz the new stock hasn't come in yet...
Went to Egames to play C&C3, CoH & DoW:DC with YS, Tongliang & TakLlung after our late lunch at 3pm..
Simply, had a rather fun time outside for once after being trapped inside for a couple of weeks...
The bad part I got out of Tuesday was that the stiches split open (I dunnoe how) and I've been put on painkillers eversince Wednesday mornin'...
Great...
Juz when I thought I was fine enough to go out again...
