Aircon Papers, CockEyez & Under One Roof **PLUS STORY OF THE 19th DEPT HEADS**

Had my 1st Common Test Paper today: GP pprs 1 & 2.. Was alrite la (considering e fact tt most of my frenz were like 'Did u study? 'Coz I didn't' in e morning kinda made EVERYONE feel contented with what they did.. As long as they filled in MORE THAN HALF e no. of lines given...) But damn man... The new air-conditioned hall was DAMN FREEZING!!!... It was only 24 Deg. C. but it was like e NORTH POLE or smth... (probably coz the school admin installed TWENTY ONE air con units inside ONE SMALL HALL...Hmm... I thought of breaking open one of e units for our council room but maybe later la..)

After GP we had a really brief SC meeting on e banner... Sianz... Muz paint it now...

Then I went to lunch with Jw... hahaz.. Went to our usual DELIFRANCE.. This time we tried e Potato Gratin... It was filling... but nth beats my fav. ciabatta... =P

After stuffing ourselves with potatoes and cheese, Jw went home then to parkway parade, whilst I went home then to Marina Square to get a new pair of glasses...
Went there in my eldest bro's car! WOOT! Means my nephew is GOING!! hahaz.. He's SOOOOO CUTE!!! (Kakak, dun worry... He's in cuter coz he's juz a toddler la... =P)

Reached there arnd 2plus, where my 2nd eldest bro joined us...(my nephew's fav. uncle la... not fair... but then again, I dun really spend tt much time as him with my nephew =S)
Went to make my specs following my eldest bro's one but they ran out of stock.. ended up buying one more sleeker.. Looks nice... Can't w8 to get it next week..
BAD NEWS.. During my eye exam, Found out tt my current specs aren't really SUITABLE... When I heard tt, my JAW NEARLY DROPPED.. Sianz la.. coz of some astig. axis crap.. E correct one for me was oblique axis/angle or smth but my current one had HORIZONTAL astig. axis... =S
Now, my right eye is CONFIRM cockeye spoil one.. It's degress went up by 75... SEVENTY FIVE!!!! Now it's 625 oredi la... My left one increased abit.. Now 510 frm 500... Seriously, if i keep going at this rate.. I dun think I can see my own nose w/out glasses by e age 30... =S...

Sianz... After tt, e party of 5 (My eldest, his wife, my 2nd eldest, Urs truly & my nephew) were HUNGRY (I wasn't, but e rest were since they didnt eat since breakfast and it was arnd 4 plus...)
So, we went to Seoul Garden...

Basically, I didn't eat much coz e potato gratin did make me stuffed...
After our early "dinner", we went walk walk coz Harris was like so hyper until 6.30.. went home...
Hahaz, ever since frm 8 juz now, Harris was sleeping Like A Baby =S .. Coz of tt, my eldest bro can't go home, and now we all are sleeping under One Roof(more like one HDB unit..) Hahaz.. So COZY la imagine 6 people, plus my bro, his wife, and Harris sleeping in a 3 room flat... Reminds me of my childhood dayz...

Woke up at 9 today and planned to finish revising bio... Got up to Enzymes by 1040 b4 I realised how hungry I was.. So, I decided to tag along with my bro & sis to PTP Macs for lunch.. Had Mcspicy.. WOOT!

Arnd noon, "kakak" called and ask me to accompany her study at Compasspt.. I was thinkin like "why not?"... Might as well try and finish bio outside since I tried to study bio for 3 dayz and got so far as Enzymes only :S..
Rushed to Kovan and reached there arnd 1230, met kakak at Compass BK studying history




Kakak "studying"..Actualli writing weird stuff on my notes, then use liquid ppr to clear it.. =S




Bored with studying, Kakak drew on my hand instead..

Ytd, we had invest meeting at 1, practiced our sitting, oath, bla bla... Ended arnd 3 but had exco meeting in e canteen regarding e logo/banner... =P

Hahaz, Tt's coz e meeting lasted WAYYYY past 5.. I was damn tired too, but as usual, being dept head of PR, muz SMILE & WAVE =D

Today, there's supposed to be econs lecture but since e tutor is *ahem* not "sane" one, I ponned it and joined with jw in e canteen..
Brudder told me tt e lecture gonna end arnd 10, but arnd 9.30 liddat it looked as if it's gonna rain heavily... So, Jw & I left for Kovan ASAP..
Bad idea, we wanna makan Deli'Potato, but e cashier said 11(note, said timing was ELEVEN).. Being impatient ppl tt we are, we decided to take 80 to Compasspoint..
E LONG ride was boooring... We reached compasspt arnd 10..
Bad idea, AGAIN, coz it's almost a ghosttown.. We used e toilet first b4 proceding to 'Bistro.. Unfortunately, no delipotato!!!..
Took bus back to Kovan =S..

To sum up:
We went to compasspoint to use e toilets
We w8ted for one and a half hours for Delipotato =S
We travelled from SR to Kovan to Compasspoint to Kovan in one and a half hours..

As of now, I'm a member of e 19th exco, with e post of Deputy Head of Public Relations, replacing e 18th rebecca...

Today, met kakak at kovan 'coz i told her i wanna makan delifrance first b4 goin for invest training.. Wanted to buy e Deli Potato but they havent prepared, settled for e usual ciabatta chicken sandwich =P.. (Which kinda made my day..)

Then found our posts, plus invest training frm 1 to 4..
After training, e excos went to A1-1 to listen to e walk-in music, but some ppl jux cant w8 to go home..

My 5 Dayz With The 19th *Continued*

Day Three - Changi Here I Come!!!

Woke up freezing arnd 5.45 coz we 4got to turn down e fans (which were at full blast).The same routine(wash-up at 6, breakfast at 7) b4 we had some induction talk by the 18th, a talk on risk management by Mr.AT. Then lunch and off we go to Changi Adventure Camp. On the way, kakak & I play e car game again.. She got lucky tt time, hit until my leg red la.. =S
Arrived there arnd 1.05pm, had briefing b4 we are joined by the CLCs(council college leaders a.k.a. CCA leaders). It was rather disappointing when the TAs told Gayne, Songwei & I tt we cannot join e rest in their activities.. =S Shiok la they all, get to do abseiling, zipline.. Haiz..
At nite, we had some team-building games and the team I assigned to (ALPHA TauPok! consisting of me, kakak, Jon Chia, Dinesh, Jarny, Shi Ping, Gayne, Xing Yi, Hui Ling, Wei Keat, Cedric.
Played some blindfold game, then Dinesh "got lost". Had to go all the way to East Coast Park juz to 'retrieve' Dinesh and carry him back to our camp. I became front man, scout ahead for our path and e jialat ppl frm camp purposely placed branch on e road to block our path, and I think they pour water on e drain made it slippery =S. Brought Dinesh back while screaming TauPok Square!!!.
Then dinner, shower (shower facilities were okay, but nth beats SR's power shower in our PE block =P) followed by an impromptu meeting by some ppl.. which spoiled my day further.. I won’t wanna mention here la.. But those ppl really insulted my kakak la.. made me piss only.
Went to slp discussing politics with brudder…

Day Four - Water Sporting

Most boring day ever.. After e usual routine, e rest had kayaking while e invalids had to sit by the side and stone.. Well, stone and plan stuff.. Some kena seasickness, cannot tahan and went back early.. This continued till lunch, followed by more team games, this time it's to get equipment for improvised rafting. We had 3 less PVC poles than e other grps but we managed to build a Dragon Banana Raft. We built e raft in e freezing rain, lashing e ropes in e cold. But it was worth it.
That raft is e only raft which sailed e whole length la.. Hahaz ALPHA TAUPOK ROX!!!
Day ended with dinner and campfire performance, where kakak was really high while 'benny and I was like stonin', even throughout our performance..
Haiz.. Being e last nite of camp, e TAs had a short briefing, so we had a lot of time on our hands, we played concentration frm 11 till 12.15 liddat. Kakak and I played spotting airline companies as e plans flew by our camp..

Day Five - home, smelly clothes and CAMP-LAG

A rather slack day where e 19th guys woke up rather late, packed our stuff for the final time. Area cleaning.. took some pix:

Haiz, everyone then juz dispersed home after that. Sad la.
When I got home, I realized tt I need to meet up with JH at Sim Lim, went there arnd 2.30.. Actually, I was like wanna slp at home first la, but since I haven't met up with him since Saints' Grad Nite.. Went to Tec-Drome to buy City Life for $42.. (Note that I still haf to save up $150 by next Saturday to buy belt n shoes)
Then, we decided to go to BK for lunch (xtra lunch on my part)..
Went home later but had to pass John (TP john, not SR jon) Godfather: The Game since he's like despo for any game =P.. Went home at 6. Tried to keep awake by playing my new game.. but cannot tahan, instead read e manual to slp..
Woke up arnd 8.30.. shifted myself to my rm.. Slept all e way until 9 am Saturday morning... Had a long 12hr "nap"...

Not only that, now, remembering all this, it made me think of what I should've done, e mistakes which I'd wanna make it right.. Haiz.. I'm missing camp, but not only that, I'm missing the great company of the 19th

Day One - Troubled Beginnings
Went to school at 7.30 juz to meet wolsyJW b4 CTC began at 9. Luckily for me a few other elects were already there and "Kakak" Clara came early to accompany me =D. CTC began with uniform inspection and briefing on our tardiness… We were then grouped, I was in Grp 3 with:

We had to clean e classes on e 3 rd floor of block A & B, from 10 to 2.30 with lunch at noon. After tt, we had morning duty training... I had the post of announcer.. =S The funny thing I rmb was when we had rehearsal for morning duty and kakak(parade commander, small but LOUD!) got paired up with Julian(TALL announcer) hahaz.. Contrast man… Shld’ve brought camera... Then, we pitched tents outside e tracks near the fitness corner… Found out tt instructions given were not clear.. had to re-pitch and Angel's tent lost one peg.. spent e whole time at nite searching for it.. In the dark! After midnite, the rest had PT (more like punishment for e morning's tardiness) while the invalids (me, songwei, gayne) had to juz stand on e tracks... Unable to help thanx to e TAs =S...Haiz.. Went to sleep inside e HUMID tents arnd 3… brudder 'benny slept shirtless coz he cannot 'tahan' e heat.. Lucky the TAs didn't check tt ced, zhanny and a few others slept on e tracks.. or else we all would really sweat ourselves to death =S...

Day Two - Yellow Cabs, Red Cars and A Grey Sedan
Woke up at 5.45 with freezing legs coz someone forgot to close e tent flap on one end, but the top half of my body still sweating. =S Had breakfast at 7. Board bus at 7.45 or 8 liddat to MacRitchie. Since e trip took quite a while, kakak and I played some lame game: hit e other person if u spot yellow cab… Since not much yellow cab, we added red cars oso... It helps to pass time.

Being invalids, songwei, alicia, gayne and I went off with Mr.CL(WOOT, E bez e TA! He's like Mr.NiceGuy himself!). We left e rest and proceed to Mr.CL's car to drive Gayne back to school coz her dad wanna bring her go see doctor or smth.. (btw, Mr.CL's car, damn roomy.. hehe.. Sry for those who couldn’t be there) Reached school arnd 9, met Jw, had a little talk coz Mr.CL took some time... Then we went back to our supposed waiting spot to w8 for any REAL casualties from noon to 1.30 thanx to e rain. We spent e time planning for e performance(a skit, but it turned out to be wasted time later la.. =S), memorizing e council pledge, coming up with logo and took a nap… We were supposed to join back with e rest for lunch but since it was raining, Mr.CL drove arnd e heartland area.. ended up eating macs at some place where there's a lot of NJC, Hwa chong and RGS ppl. (hehe.. dun get jealous ppl.. I mean, how often do u get to eat macs during camp.. =P)

Then I had to navigate MrCL from tt location to Rifle Range Road using Street Directory =P Turned out tt it was actually some ulu place, so MrCL drove on e road like damn FAST, arnd 70km/h and he said smth like "does this remind you of Grand Turismo?". I was like laughing nervously and at e same time holding myself down to e seat… hahaz, scary but fun nonetheless.
Ended up w8tin at another ulu carpark w8ting for MrPT to come and join us. Hahaz.. he wore this raincoat with camouflage pattern which made him look funny... shld've taken a pix. =S
Then we received news that the end of the hike was at B.T. sports club or smth... drove there, w8ted. I wanted to join them but after seeing their tired faces and all, MrCL told me that it was tactful if we remained and join them back in skool.. (btw, they looked as if they went thru hell and back)
Drove back to school via PIE, exit at PTP (hahaz.. I couldn't believe tt I had to navigate again…) juz so that we reached school earlier and prepare their meals…
The moment I saw them come back, I felt damn guilty la.. I helped carry their stuff to benches. Then all of a sudden, Mrs.T assigned me as IC for e rest of e nite (I think it's coz I'm e only one at e time who didn’t have tt “dying” look.. =S)
Like Zhanny said, All leaders serve, but True leaders LOVE. I & songwei helped them carry their bags frm CCA rm 5 to canteen.
Later we went to wash tents, pack up stuff and send 'em to Fusion Hse…
Meeting at Fusion Hse began rather alrite, tok bout logo, slogan, walk-in... All the admin stuff basically. But it was damn long.. frm 6.30 to 9.30… halfway thru, I realized half like dying oredi, went to some ask if they need panadol or anything…
Pretty much after tt, things began to look abit okay la. No need to sleep in tents, sleep in classrooms (which I REALLY prefer coz got fans).

Had a quite bz day today, beginning with chem mass-tutorial at 10 in the morning.. On the way to school, I met JH, changed alot since the last time I saw him.. Frm wad I'm hearing, SA is quite lax... No tutorials, xtra lessons thruout the hols... Man...

Chem mass-tutorial was supposed to be 2 hours but our lecturer too pro.. Finished e tutorial in an hour... With time to kill, 'benny and I decided to w8 in skool first b4 moving off to Kovan later to meet Wolsy, JW at 11.50..

Met her at Kovan and she looked abit -> :( ... Hahaz.. Either train sickness (according to her) or ... :P ... Cant say or I wont see daylite tmr...

Had lunch at Compasspoint, JW n 'benny bought some food at e Kopitiam whilst I ate Nasi Padang frm e Banquet... (either e rush hour or e fact tt e Nasi Padang wasn't POWER enuff...)

After lunch we went to library to mug chem... I'll admit, I noe nuts nth about coffee and the likes (I juz drink 'em when I need caffeine) and didn't noe tt u're supposed to add syrup with ur Latte'... (thanx wolsy JW.. Hahaz... Her expertise on coffee and certain sandwiches comez into great use her... =P.. btw, u r still wols... hahaz..)

Managed to finish arnd half e tutorial b4 heading home... It was raining heavily so I couldn't follow my dad to buy track pants.. Haiz.. Muz go tmr morning... =S

When my bro came back home today, he bought a Elven Knife of Sttrider from Caesars 'coz they had some sort of sale juz now... Man... means more stuff for me to clean...
