WINDOW Shopping Spree.. Key emphasis on WINDOW...

Today, I went out to ~~supposedly~~ find track pants for camp next week plus some assessment bks for ~~personal~~ mugging purposes...

Met up with JW at boon keng MRT to take 133 to Bugis (dunnoe why we didnt take 133 at PTP, made me rush to MRT station... =S) Saw 'Preet at the station, would've wanted to tok to him 'bout life in SA, but at e time, I was running late, probably later man...
Basically, a day with JW, is one of ~~weird~~ surprises... We toked crap all e way frm Boon Keng to the bus stop, in the bus, until we reached bugis =S...

I guess we went there too early 'coz almost all e shopz were still closed, except DeliFrance.. Man.. I'll be missin' tt ciabatta sandwich... Haix...

Walked around bugis to find my track pants, but since e shop were closed, we end up at e 2nd floor of some ~~ulu~~ airconditioned area where e shops were still closed.. ~~Hahaz.. JW... tsk tsk tsk ... 2 words 4 u: Too Late...~~

Arnd noon, we left bugis, took 80 to Compasspoint... Took ALOOOONNGG while too.. (1hr to be precise)... I msg 'benny boi if he wanna join us at compasspt but turned out he was at Marists.. =S hahaz.. (To 'benny, i not steamin' jux now... Jw msg u all tt... using my PHONE!!!)

Reached Compasspt at 1, went to Popular and found our books.. Found H2 maths bk & Chem... Then "disaster" struck... I forgot my bro's Popular card... man... end up trying to contact whomever we can with a popular card. Me: Tried gab, but no ans. JW: Friend, but who was at Tampines =S... Tried asking Fathiah who happened to be there but alas, no card still... Worse come to worse, ended up asking some passing stranger for her card.. Lucky she used to be some Econs teacher (but we didnt ask which skool) and she agreed to lending us her card... Hahaz.. Luck was on our side... Phew..

Walked arnd Compasspt for track pants... Found some cool ones... But cool stuff tend to come with COLD prices... SOOO BLEEDIN' EX man..

Monday: Maths chp 5,6 test, got 4/10... wth... Plus i got ZERO (tt's rite, ZERO ZERO ZERO) for trigo test last wk...

Tuesday: Bio Lecture test... At least I can answer the qs... Although won't noe e results until arnd 2-3 wks...

Wednesday: MT Common Test Oral, this one was ok la... Since i dun realli put much effort in my MT anywayz...

Thursday: MT listening compre plus ppr 1... Same comment as above

This whole week has been quite a loooong one where I think I spent at least more than 12hrs each day outside e hse... But in SKOOL =S. Not much to say la, 'cept tt ytd was quite eventful. First of all, went to the gym for PE, did weight training, 80 push ups, 30 dips... whoa... lemme tell u, u wont feel it tt day, but on e e next... I cant even bring my arm up above my head properly...

After my usual routines of lectures/tutorials, i went to our SC 'meeting'... Wth.. out of 39, barely 15 or-so showed up. We didnt do much from 3.30 to 5+, mainly sit down, talk crap. Drew crap too... Frm wad I noe, only one person frm my committee showed up... me =S.. I envy brudder jon sia... his comm so high la and summore show up for nearly every meeting... At 5+, brudder-jon, shiping,clara n I left school, leaving zhanny's walk-in comm n ced's publicity comm outside e library.

We went to Kovan's Heartland Mall to find e doorgift comm's bottle and went through shelves and shelves of wine bottle, barcadi, vodka... Until we saw one rather cheap bottle of rice vinegar... 85c.(if i'd known we were gonna use tt bottle, we shld've jux remained at Kovan) Our 'search' led us to pizza hut... Had dinner there and as usual, talk ALOTTA crap since we 4 were sooo high... =S

Ended our search in Kovan n went to compass point's Value... Guess wut... NO BOTTLES... only weird smelling perfumes selling at $3.. one of which i ACCIDENTALLY sprayed on my hand and it like stank 'till e next morning.. =S... The most frustrating part.. We bought e 85c rice vinegar... when we could've bought at Kovan.. hahaz.. (well, some gd did happened, as least i didnt make a whole wine rack drop)... hahaz...

Went through alot ytd. First and foremost, the chem lecture test... OMG!!! It was soooo diff. la, 'coz of time constraints and the fact the test was before a THURSDAY BREAK.(FYI, tuesdays n thursdays are fried food days, meaning there'll be fried chicken and begedel! =D). The rest of the day passed by rather boring: chem prac did titration and tt heat thing, maths did tutorial=S, GP as usual, stone and nod ur head and pretend u understand whenever mrs.p asks "do u understand?" ...

Went out of ML class early to go to LT1 for council election results. Met with brudders jon n gab there, tok n tok until JW showed up and WASSUP-ed! me... ARGHH!... nearly won ytd, but she broke e tie...haix..
Anyways, went to LT1, took a looooooooonnnnggggg while before mr.PT got in to reveal the results.

After that, it was the REAL challenge, all the NUMEROUS deadlines we were given on several tasks, plus me being appointed as slogan n logo IC... Man, that is more SCARY than w8tin for the results itself...

Today, woke up at 11 and missed e first half of Buble's Caught in The Act.. Man.. But still saw e other half of his performance.. Quite good though.. Went to Alkaff Mosque for Friday prayers and met Hasbee there... After tt, went to get a haircut at the NEW barber near macs at PTP. I dunnoe whether my hair ok anot but heck la, my hair's meant to be short 'coz i dun realli like e ~~~~ (if u noe wad i mean)...

The rest of the day i TRIED to do redox but ended up sleeping instead, then switched to maths inequalities,(did abit b4 i gave up since we r gonna finish it anyway)... Played Oblivion frm 8 to 9.30 and JUST B4 I FINISHED ONE DAMN LOOOOONNNGGG QUEST... Game Crash... ARRR!!!...

Starting frm this morning, my memories were quite hazy...Why you ask? 'Coz of my cold medication i took the night before... I nearly 4got to get off 107 this morning..(too bad for another SR guy who i think suffered the same fate as me and was still sleeping by the time I got off the bus...)

Anyways, today is the 10th Of May... Elections Day... (not the General Elections, but rather SRJC's Election Day). Thanx to my old Athens Beta ppl & several other aquaintences (who, by the way, will 'wassup!' me wherever I go), i received several votes... To top it off, MORE THANX to brudders jon21 and gab25 for their campaign effort... 'Coz of them, alot of votes went to numbers 21 TO 25 (not &,AND)... lolx...

The rest of the day passed by rather monotonously: PW, discussing GPP & survey/interview questions but ended up playing some weird finger game and mr.sucrose himself making crappy remarks..=P ML, OMG!!! cant believe the class spent an hour doing ppr 2 ... to make things worse, tmr's ML lesson will be on ppr1, COMPO-WRITING!!!! WTH!!! And i dun even possess a proper 'kamus'(Malay dictionary)...

For our curger-wednesday lunch, I didn't order any 'coz of my sickky feelin' throat and juz chit-chatted with e rest of my S02 brudders.

Econs lecture, I dunnoe why, but I suddenly got 'high' for some reason so I didnt fall asleep (like i usually do :S). But still, being the common nature of our lectures, it was fairly uneventful.

Went home early, wanted to take a nap but ended up playing Oblivion frm 4 to 6. Realised that I haf work to do and chem to revise, I stopped playing and rushed my hw frm 7 'till now...

Shld be prepared for tmr's chem lecture...

Didn't get a proper sleep last night thanx to my blocked nose and incessant cough... Haix.. Cant believe it's only been 2 mths or so since I've last got these symptoms. As a result, I went home early today. Skipped Chem & GP lecture. Had lunch at home b4 i went to the neighbourhood clinic. Damn! The waiting line was SUPER long la... ended up w8ting frm 2 to 3 before i could get my consultation... Got an MC for today n tmr (in case i *cant* wake up tmr morning :P). Haix... gonna catch some Zzz....

After my recent 'trail by fire', I had the feeling that some relaxtion time could be handy...Alas, I suddenli realised that throughout the whole of next week, I'll have tests from Monday to Thursday =S. Monday(Tmr): Maths Functions & ML Peribahasa, Tuesday: Bio Essay Test, Wednesday: Bio SPA exam(skill BC), Thursday: Chem Lecture test... OMG!!!

Haiz... To top it off on my to-study list, I have several tutorials waiting to be done... Thank God there's no assignments so far... *phew*

Better get on with my Functions then...

Recap: 7.30, SAJCCB walk-in. All I rmb before the intermission was: Animation Songs Medley was abit too long :S, that Glosz told e audience to stop shouting/cheering after that medley (although it was particularly on e fault of the band members themselves since from xp, they'll ask everyone of their frenz to shout out their names without specifying at which part of the concert =P), the euphonium solo in All Those Endearing Young Charms was great!(I wonder how many hrs of practise u'd need to play as good as tt...) and that almost throughout the concert, JW & I were toking crap.. 'specially bout the way her ex-PL ppl looked at tt night..(so B I M B O T I C =P)

The only thing worth taking note of after the intermission was the duet of When You Tell Me That You Love Me nearly made me TONE DEAF... *bleahx* ... Although e 2 band performers-turned-singers shld probably be rewarded for their courage, I'd admit that the band shld've used REAL singers instead =P...

Overall, SAINTS ASCENCIO was great, although the school administration shld have kept all the side gates open for the guests to leave(haiz, this ALWAYS happens at tt site... even when SAS was situated there). So, JW & I ended up brisk walking frm one end of the school to the other, jogged past several slow lagging ppl on the bridge by the main road. Then having to cut thru/overtake several ppl who juz went back from the SDA rally or smth. Cut through several blocks juz to reach e MRT station... by the time i sent JW to the MRT station and reached home, I felt as if I juz feel into a pool... :S

That's pretty much my friday... Now, I'm trying to do my GPP, but so far, no contact frm ced about where to meet or wad to do... Crap...

Juz like 'benny said, my grp shld be called 'sucrose' :S

J1 rally. Had the FALSE impression that it was going to be a walk in the park compared to the J2 rally. After the nominees' formal introduction, the 'barrage' began. I answered one question posted by a teacher about the pressing needs of students and gave a rather expected answer. Well, at least I said smth sensible this time other than "WASSUP!"... Anyways, naufal asked e drowning qs again(which was expected) but someONE answered it in a rather, undiplomatic manner, and thus, gave a bad impression of us towards e teachers... I mean, even my ML teacher was talking bout it during ML period, she's like saying tt the answer was obviously bodoh, tak pakai akal (translation: stupid answer, nvr use brains... :S
Other than that particular incident, everything else went quite well, my brudders & I each answered one qs each, plus one of my brudders 'sucrose-ed' himself on stage again, for the umpteenth time... Haiz... that was unexpected at first though...

Today, 5/5
School ended early today since it's gonna be used as a polling station tmr. Thus, I ended early and went to Kovan with Hasbee after Friday prayers. There, I met Zhi sheng, Delon n Jon Chan, who, after Hasbee ran his errands, I joined with to chat 'bout 'daily' stuff. Went to SAS at 3 to collect cert with JH and WL(who turned out to be a bit of a despo, cant blame him, coz his poly class ratio is...abysmal at BEST). After that WL n I went to the new chicken rice stall where an old traditional chinese medicine shop used to be. Meet up with Mo, CK n one of their friends. We basically crapped the whole time until 4.30... Talked about ex-classmates and our new lives in JC(or poly in e case of WL).

4.30, rushed home, cleaned myself and went out again arnd 5.50 to meet JW at PTP MRT station 'coz of SAINTS ASCENCIO at 7 later tt night. Had 'dinner' at macs consisting of double fillet-o-fish which tasted abit bitter, ice lemon tea n fries... If that could count as 'dinner' tt is....

Went 'touring' SA-Village arnd 6.30, showed JW the 'sights' of SAS n SAJS... n how miniscule our current school is when compared to SAV.. Entered SAJC thru e covered bridge, past their 'gallery' (which was like OMG!!! HUGE!!!). Summore, next to the gallery, there;s this study corner(SAV has alot of isolated study corners) which has a STUNNING view of SAJS, SAS and PTP... but spoiled nonetheless by the 'sickly green longkang'. Checked their canteen. It's like SPACIOUS but in a way, bad coz it's more open and I nearly nearly nearly touched bird crap while I was there... (if i did, it'd ruin the entire evening coz JW will be like WOLS-ing me the whole time :S) The other parts of SAJC were not tt interesting since we cant go to e hall as there's some parents' meet or smth, the POPULAR bookshop was closed, plus most parts of the school were like dim..(dunnoe due to poor lighting or juz tt they didnt have enough money to install more lights...)

7.30+, SAINTS ASCENCIO begins... With a nice walk-in by the band members and cheering and waving of the SA flag... (I miss tt SA spirit...)

Today was J2 rally day and I really really did HORRIBLY!!! OMG!!!! Cant believe I just stoned on my seat for a freakin' hour n a half!!!! ARGGHHH!!!! Luckily, some of e J2s know me thanx to my "wassup!"... hahahz... At least THAT worked out... abit... Other than that, the rally went quite smoothly (too smoothly in my case), as the "normally quiet" ppl suddenli plucked up some kind of courage from God knows where... leaving ppl who normally talk, e.g. Urs Truly :P almost no chance of answering... answering anything "neutral"...

After rally, went through 2 bio tests plus GP... my academic day was quite a bore... GP, chem lectures, went home for lunch, gt a call frm weiling who "dragged" me back to SR to watch e SA v SR match... Sad to say, by the time I reached there, it's like 17 or some 2 digit score in favour of SA... Well, there's always some other time... Haiz... thank God not much work today... Gonna play Oblivion :D

To explain the irony in my title, let me begin first with the recent upgrades to my computer. A new graphics card together with upgraded RAM allowed me to finally access Oblivion on Friday night. Which then lead me to playing the game throughout Saturday and Sunday before realising: CRAP!!! I havent touched my HW... (or most of it anyways)

Thus, putting my homework schedule in a: State of Oblivion... To add to the pressure, I still havent done any preparation for tmr's J2 Rally Day... (D-day 2/5, H-Hour, 0730-0900!)... I'm sooooo dead....

Wish me luck, and check for updates to see how the rally turned out for me...
